On a positive note, Monday I start my 200-hour yoga teaching certification program!!! I am hoping all of the "zen-ness" will help clear my mind and get me mentally ready for surgery and help me to live with all of this uncertainty.

Still life is done!
Still life #6 I think? I am really pleased with how it turned out. I love the earthy colors and the complex arrangement. Everything looks really solid.
To be honest, I've taken a break from blogging because things haven't exactly been peachy lately. It turns out that after all of this, I might actually need surgery to really heal this fistula. Tomorrow I go into the city for an upper GI study. Wish me luck...
