PIZZA PIZZA!!!

What's better than a homemade deep dish pizza?  For dinner tonight?  Italian Sausage and Escarole Deep Dish Pizza!
Mix and knead the dough.

After letting it rise for a good two hours, press it into a cake pan.
Mix together fontina, provolone, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese.
Sautee some broccoli rabe with italian sausages, garlic, and onions
Make the tomato sauce.
First layer: CHEEEESE.
Then the sausage and broccoli rabe filling.
Some more cheese, of course
The tomato sauce...
And some more cheese - gosh, how did that all fit in that pan!
My parents are having brunch in the city with my brother and his fiance, so I decided to bake some goodies to give to him.  First I made some blueberry walnut muffins.

And also some Chocolate Sandwich Cookies.

 Some Black and White Cookies.

 And some Chocolate Pretzel Cookies:

And I also went down to the art room to mae them a little card:

For breakfast, I made a savory breakfast bread pudding.
Chop up some bread.
Soak it in milk, eggs, cream, and spices.
Saute some peppers, onions, and garlic.
Saute some canadian bacon.
Mix everything with the bread mixture, including fontina cheese.
Sprinkle some parmesan on top once pouring it into a casserole dish.
Bake for 55 minutes at 350F.
A savory breakfast treat!
In the art room, I started this piece:  (It's going to be three girls singing.)
 And finished this piece:
Free to Fly
The gold in the corner is gold leaf.

Day 32...

I finished the backgrounds I started the other day...
Pair of Hearts

Imagine

My Moon
 Then I started this background...

Another background

These are some sketches for some future pieces.
Spring flowers!

In the kitchen, I cooked up some cinnamon streusel pancakes.

With a cinnamon-butter-sugar mixture sprinkled on top, it makes a sweet breakfast treat!
Then I whipped up some banana stuffed french toast.
My dad loved the homemade flour tortilla I made him yesterday, so this time I filled it with eggs, smoked salmon, onions, and cream cheese.

I wanted to do something different for my mom's breakfast, so I made her an Apple-Spiced Breakfast Soup.
Boil apples, water, honey, golden raisins, walnuts, and spices.
Bring to a boil and stir in bread to thicken the soup.
Stir in plain yogurt and lemon juice.
I also made a whole wheat bread with wild rice cooked into it.

Then I made Molasses Cookies.  The dough came out perfectly - this is a great recipe.
And for the grand finale, some Linzer Cookies.

 It's a full buffet today!
